Getting Started is Easy
Step 1: Reach out to your HR Representative for more information on the program.
Step 2: Open an eligible Pathfinder
Bank account:
- Online. Enter promo code provided by your HR Representative in your application, along with your employer's name in the Occupation Details field to be eligible.
- At Any Branch Location. Provide proof of employment (recent paystub or the Pathfinder Workplace Banking Program flyer distributed through participating employer) when opening your account.
Step 3: Set Up Qualifying Direct
Deposit
Establish qualifying payroll direct deposit into your eligible Pathfinder Bank checking account to begin accessing Workplace Banking benefits and promotional offers.
Step 3: Unlock Your Workplace Banking Benefits
Once program requirements are met, you may receive cash incentive offers, exclusive banking benefits, preferred loan pricing and discounts, financial wellness resources, and personalized support from your local Pathfinder Bank Workplace Banking team.

Program Overview
Workplace banking is a no-cost, premium value employee benefit program designed to provide convenient and affordable banking services for the employees of organizations and companies who help support the vital economic needs of our communities.
Program Requirements
Customers will be eligible for the program if they:
- Are an employee at a participating employer. Proof of employment can be the customer’s most recent paystub from the participating employer or a Pathfinder Bank Workplace Banking Program flyer that was distributed through the participating employer.
- Establish a payroll direct deposit of at least $500 within 60 days of entering the program, into a Pathfinder Bank personal checking account.
If a customer no longer meets the program requirements, the Bank reserves the right to remove the customer from the program and discontinue associated program benefits.
Program Benefits
Cash Bonus
Customers will receive a one-time cash bonus when they meet all program requirements and open a qualifying Pathfinder Bank personal checking account. Qualifying checking accounts are Premier Checking, Kasasa Cash Checking, and Kasasa Cash Back Checking.
- Eligible customers that open a Pathfinder Bank Premier Checking Account will receive a one-time cash bonus of $400.
- Eligible customers that open a Pathfinder Bank Kasasa Cash Checking Account or a Pathfinder Bank Kasasa Cash Back Checking Account will receive a one-time cash bonus of $200.
Existing Pathfinder Bank customers with existing deposit accounts and/or existing payroll direct deposits are eligible for Workplace Banking Program benefits but are not eligible for the cash bonus unless a new qualifying account is opened and all applicable bonus requirements are met.
Cash bonuses may be credited at different times depending on account activity but will be paid no later than 10 calendar days after all qualifying criteria are met. All accounts must remain open, active, and in good standing through the date any cash bonus is paid. Cash bonuses may be reported to the IRS on Form 1099-INT or other applicable forms. Please consult your tax advisor.
Deposit Products
Eligible customers that open the below Deposit Products will receive the following benefits.
Pathfinder Bank Premier Checking Account
- The minimum balance requirement of $500 to open the account will be waived.
- The minimum balance requirement of $1,000 to avoid the $15 monthly service fee will be waived.
- The minimum balance requirement of $500 to earn interest will not be waived. Refer to the Pathfinder Bank Rate Sheet for the interest rates that apply to this account.
Pathfinder Bank Kasasa Cash Checking Account & Cash Back Account
- The first order of Personal Checks will be free.
Pathfinder Bank Health Savings Account (HSA)
- The $25 Setup Fee will be waived.
Pathfinder Bank Personal Certificates of Deposit (CD)
- There will be a 0.25% interest rate increase above the then-current annual percentage yield (APY) offered on eligible Pathfinder Bank Personal Special CD products.
Lending Products
Eligible customers that close on the below Lending Products will receive the following benefits.
Pathfinder Bank Residential Mortgage
- The $500 application fee will be waived. Third-party fees may still apply.
Pathfinder Bank Home Equity Loans
- There will be a 0.25% rate discount for the life of the loan.
Pathfinder Bank Consumer Loans
- The $20 application fee will be waived.
- There will be a 0.25% rate discount for the life of the loan.
- Program participants may receive both the Workplace Banking Program discount rate and the existing auto-pay discount rate, for a combined total discount rate of 0.50%.
Additional Benefits
- Bank Checks and Money Orders are free (limit 2 per day).
