Our DE&I Team

Ishrat Ahmed

Sales Support Specialist

I have been with Pathfinder Bank for two and a half years, when I started, there was not a designated committee for our diverse Pathfinder community. I knew there was a need and an opportunity to start this committee and I am thankful to be an integral part of this collective effort. I am from Pakistan but I call Central New York my home now. I chose to be a part of this committee to show the respect to all our differences, similarities and common goals.

Calvin Corriders

Regional President, Syracuse Market

I am honored to be a part of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee as this group will continue to help us all at Pathfinder Bank grow and learn from our customers, employees, and the community to best meet their needs intelligently.

April Phillips

VP, Core Systems and Deposit Operations Manager

I work with nearly every Pathfinder Bank employee at some point in their career if they access our core system.  With 15 years combined experience in Loan Operations, Deposit Operations and Core Systems, I feel that being part of this Team will allow me to be a better mentor to them as well as a voice on the team to share concerns that I have observed, experienced, or that employees have shared directly with me.

Paloma Sarkar

First Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management and Strategic Planning

Diversity is more than just differences in races, it is the acceptance of all people despite their experiences and walks of life including gender, race, ability and all things that make us unique human beings. I am a part of this committee because having differences matters and it is only through these differences that we can begin to see changes and other perspectives that will ultimately create a better world.

Vaishali Willis - Chair

Marketing Project Manager

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion isn’t a new concept but the space continues to grow and the opportunities to make effective changes has significantly increased. My story is only one of many within the Bank but it provides a unique perspective to the organization, I was born in India, adopted and grew up in Upstate New York. I chose to be on this committee because through our differences we are able to learn, celebrate, and create a more inclusive company.
